Health Update 11 May 2008 Dear Friends of my Mother, Happy Mother's Day! Although I do not have anything new to report to you in terms of my mother's health, I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for your support. As you know, my mother turned 69 on April 8. Her birthday was peaceful, and she seemed happier on that day, as if she knew it was special. However, her illness is continuing to run its natural course. Today I am reminded of the many happy Mother's Days that we spent together picnicking at Camelot and the ranch. I want to thank those of you who responded to my last e-mail as well as those of you who sent birthday greetings. The flowers and plants that are sent to her home do brighten up her rooms and are very much appreciated. I also want to let you know that we will be launching a Recollections page on the www.ecprophet.info website. I am setting up this page at the suggestion of the family for the purpose of collecting memories of our mother. We have already had a Testimonial page on the website but it has not been active and I have not solicited any new entries in the years since I put up the site. The purpose of the Recollections page is to provide a space for those who appreciate her work to remember her. We will be collecting the tributes and selecting a well-rounded group for inclusion in a booklet. The page will be moderated to the extent that offensive and inappropriate comments will not be added. This site is not the appropriate place for debating the value of her work. I would appreciate it if you could think about whether you have recollections of your own that you would like to submit. It would also be helpful if you could forward this e-mail to anyone whom you think would want to submit a recollection. Please send submissions to the attention of webmaster@ecprophet.info.
