A Place for Health Updates, Personal Tributes and Care Contributions This website has been established to provide health information about Elizabeth Clare Prophet, an author and religious leader, and to allow her friends and students to contribute funds to her care. The site will also provide a venue for those who know and love her as Guru Ma and as Mother to give testimonials about how she influenced their lives. Visitors will be able to learn the latest about her health condition as she suffers from Alzheimer’s disease and read excerpts from her writings. And they will be able to view private family photos released by Elizabeth’s children as a courtesy and comfort to those who have been influenced by their mother’s life. The photos include their mother’s early life, their growing-up years with Elizabeth and their father, Mark Prophet, her years in Montana, as well as family moments during her declining state. The site will be open to a selected number of postings from those who have been positively influenced by her life and work. These will be posted on a tribute page and rotated on a periodic basis. If you have a testimonial you would like to post, please contact webmaster@ecprophet.info, whom you can also contact if you want to get e-mail updates about her health condition. The site will also present information on her financial needs. As of December 2003, when this site was set up, her in-home care needs were not being fully funded. Thanks to generous contributions from supporters, much of the deficit was made up. As of December 2004, Church Universal and Triumphant, which she founded, has agreed to fully fund her in-home care expenses. However, she does have ongoing needs in addition to what is being provided. Go to the Updates page for further information. Those who feel motivated to donate to her care can continue to do so through the Contributions page on this site. Were Elizabeth able to respond to all those who contribute, we are sure that she would, and that she would send not only her own appreciation, but also that of her husband and fellow religious leader, Mark Prophet, known to his followers as Lanello. Thank you for your interest in their lives and work. |
